Our Virtual Bulletin Board allows churches within our association to post job openings, items they would like to donate to other churches, items they have available to share, such as VBS decorations, etc.
MINISTER OF MUSIC JOB SUMMARY
The Minister of Music will be responsible for overseeing and leading musical worship for the congregation, selecting music for services and, if applicable, leading a choir. The Minister of Music is responsible for all music-related activities, leading the music ministry, ensuring that music is theologically sound and conducive to worship. The Minister of Music will have a passion for music and a commitment to using music to lead others to worship.
Minister of Music Duties and Responsibilities
Select, manage, and arrange appropriate music for weekly worship services
Lead singers, musicians, and congregation in performances and, when needed, rehearsals
Provide music for special services and events such as revivals and VBS
Collaborate with the pastor and other staff to plan worship services
Partner with and work in conjunction with the audio/visual ministry for all services
Prepare and oversee an annual music and worship budget for approval
Recruit and train volunteers to participate in the music department
Maintain music library and equipment
Serve as a member of the Church Council
Coordinate music and worship program with the church calendar and emphases of the church
Support and help acquire music for weddings, funerals, special events, and other church-related activities upon request
Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Pastor

Knowledgeable in Christian music
Possesses excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Able to work well with diverse groups of people
Be a part of our congregation, including the Wednesday night Bible study
Strong commitment to the mission and values of the church
Minister of Music Work Commitment and Salary
Average of 5-8 hours
$150 – $200 weekly, depending on experience and duties

Pianist and/or Worship Leader – Part-time: Mt. Sinai Baptist (Clever)
MINISTRY DESCRIPTION
Seeking a pianist and/or worship leader in a small, rural church community located just outside Springfield with plenty of potential for growth! Mt. Sinai’s vision is to blend traditional hymn music with contemporary worship to reach a multi-generational audience. Expectations would be to lead worship on Sunday mornings, coordinate with the team to manage the sound system and video screen, and (as needed) plan rehearsal time. Compensation is negotiable based on experience, availability, etc.
