I saw Satan fall from heaven like lightning! Look, I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy,
and you can walk among snakes and scorpions and crush them.
Nothing will injure you.
Luke 10:18-19
If you read the news these days, it may seem like Satan has the upper hand. Particularly among children and young people, who are lambasted with messages and philosophies that come straight out of…well, you know where.
But the Enemy has been defeated! We who belong to Christ are promised victory in this world and the next!
And the children and young people in our churches need to know that– and experience the life-changing love and power that ONLY Jesus can give them.
And they need to know that no matter what the enemy may throw their way, with Jesus they can overcome!
Tri-County’s camp theme this year is CRUSHING SNAKES. You may think, “That’s a strange theme for a church camp!”
But Jesus told His followers “I saw Satan fall from heaven like lightning! Look, I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy, and you can walk among snakes and scorpions and crush them. Nothing will injure you.” Luke 10:18-19 NLT
From June 5-8 kids and young people will climb Baptist Hill and spend 4 days learning about Jesus and His overcoming power. We’ll worship and sing and hear His word explained and applied at their level. They’ll make new friends and we’ll mix in lots of fun and great food.
Sometimes it takes getting away from everyday life for us to really hear God. That’s the value of church camp. And children and young people need to hear God speak to them–now more than ever.
Tri-County’s camp leadership has already been praying for months. Will you join us, that God will step into children’s and young people’s lives while they’re at Baptist Hill–and that eternity will be different because we prayed?
June 5 though 8 will be the most important week in the lives of many of these kids.
Will you pray?
Will you serve? (this is OUR camp–it’s like going on a mission trip to our own people! We need cabin leaders, kitchen help, help with tech, help setting up and breaking down for activities during the week–and more. WE make this happen! Information on how to sign up to serve is in the camp packet.)
You can click on the links at the right to download the camp packet and camp poster. Please call us at 417.725.8825 with questions.
Looking forward to a GREAT and GLORIOUS week at Baptist Hill!
